I received my new bodhran yesterday. It arrived on Monday to Hungary, but I study far from home.
My friend brought it to me for our session (every Thursday we have one). First I examined it... It was beautifull, but nothing special. When I first hit it I was shocked by it's rich tone and the great bass. I have seen pretyer bodhrans, but few of them can product the tone like this. I played all night long. Our flute player and fiddle player -both beautifull girls- said it's sound is very hot (I think drumming is the second best thing in the world too...of course :) ).
So I'm very grateful to Michael for his help, for the gift he send me and for this great bodhran. I recomend Vignoles bodhrans for everyone!
